Our office mentor and supervisor, Briana Benn-Mirandi has been teaching for the past twenty eight years. Her teaching opportunities have included art classes across the lifespan, college courses, guest lectures and professional trainings.
A long-time student of Yudit Maros, Briana is one of the only clinicians in the world certified to teach both Brief Solution-Oriented Trauma Resolution (BSOTR), as well as Authenticity Therapy©. Within these two revolutionary trainings are the keys to heal both PTSD and complex PTSD.
BSOTR is a next-generation trauma treatment that enables rapid recovery from traumatic memories and experiences. In traditional talk therapy, trauma is resolved by desensitizing a person to the painful events of their past. BSOTR is different in that there is no need to retell and relive traumatic events. With only the most basic of details, your therapist will guide you to take control of your past, heal your younger Self, and empower your current- and future Selves.
